Rice’s Landscapes Redefined Supports United Way Through Monthly Stone Soup Contribution

Rice's community volunteering at United Way Stone SoupSince January 2019, Rice’s has contributed monthly to the United Way Stone Soup, an event designed to provide hot meals to organizations assisting homeless families and individuals.

The United Way of Greater Stark County is a non-profit organization whose mission is to energize the community to care for one another by addressing human needs with measurable results. This includes improving the quality of life in our communities by leading in the development of solutions to critical social issues in the areas of health, education, and financial stability.

To date, Rice’s employees have donated nearly $450 in ingredients and about 18 hours preparing food that has provided hot meals to around 300 people in the Greater Stark County area through a variety of shelters and ministries.

Rice’s Landscapes Redefined is committed to continuing to provide monthly meals to area residents in need through our partnership with United Way.
