Rice's Announces Business Expansion Shift
Growth in core landscape maintenance services driving changes
Rice’s, Northeast Ohio’s premier provider of custom landscapes, today announced that plans are underway to expand their core services with a landscape production center to be housed in their former retail space.
“We feel fortunate to have a growing business, and are excited to say we’re continuing to expand our residential and commercial landscape services,” said Bryan Rice, president. “This move allows us to create a landscape production facility as well as a streamlined process for our teams.”
He said Rice’s no longer will offer any retail or re-wholesale services at the garden center, the Spring Garden Showroom. The garden center had previously been open seasonally from March-June for retail customers.
“We really appreciate the support of the garden center customers over the years, and hope they will continue to support us as we expand our landscaping services.” Rice said. “With growth comes change, and we’re excited about the opportunities ahead for our business through this expansion effort.”
The retail garden center originally opened back in 1990, offering a variety of plants and gardening solutions. Rice said the decision to expand landscape production services into the space previously used for the garden center was a tough one, but a positive one that supports the business growth in their core landscaping services.
